Block User Dialog CallThis control element shows a Block User Dialog. A tap on the tile opens the dialog; in addition a trigger address can show and hide it. The same template can be used by several calls with different addresses – so you only need the dialog once for several lights or rooms.
The tile shows a symbol, the name and an arrow, like the page change. A tap opens the dialog as a sheet, the close symbol closes it. As basic screen the call appears as a circle with the symbol.
This section is meant for the installer of the system.
The dialog is chosen with the button Dialog in the properties or with the right mouse button on the element. The selection has a search field and shows all dialog templates of the project with their page.
Display |
|
| Dialog | The template that is shown. If none is chosen yet, the Studio shows the note „no dialog chosen“ on the tile and a tap shows an empty sheet. |
| Name | Text on the tile. When a dialog is chosen and the name still has its default value, it takes over the title of the dialog. |
| View | Block or Basic screen. |
| Symbol | Symbol on the tile: a program symbol or an SVG graphic imported into the project (see Block Menu Bar, section „Your own graphics (SVG) as symbol“). Default is a layers symbol. |
Trigger |
|
| Trigger | Optional. With the address Trigger another place (for example a door bell) shows the dialog. Not linked: the dialog only appears by tapping. When it appears:

Addresses in the dialog |
|
| Addresses | All addresses of the elements in the dialog that are meant to be public in the template (input with link field) appear in the address list of the call, with element, text and address name. If an address is not linked here, the address from the template applies. If it is linked, it only applies in this call. So each call gets its own addresses without copying the template. Unlinking restores the address of the template. |
| Names | The button Names ... (only if the dialog offers addresses) opens a list in which each address gets a name of its own so that it is easy to find in the address list. Empty: the default name. |
