Safety notes
Please read these notes before installing, commissioning or changing an
installation. They supplement the Legal Notice.
Electrical installation
- Work on mains voltage and on electrical installations may only be
carried out by qualified electricians.
- Before working on devices and distribution boards, disconnect the
installation from the power supply, secure it against being switched on
again and verify that it is de-energised.
- The applicable laws, standards and regulations and the information of
the manufacturers of the devices used always take precedence over this
documentation.
- Operate devices only as intended and within the data sheet
specifications (voltage, temperature, protection class).
Safety-relevant functions
For functions where a fault can endanger persons or property (e.g.
personal protection, fire protection, plant protection, water and heating
systems), the applicable regulations must be observed and approved safety
devices used where necessary. The operator remains responsible for the
safety-relevant functions of the installation.
Project and configuration
- Create a backup before any change to the project, configuration or
firmware (see Restore backup).
- After changes and after commissioning, check the function of the
installation, especially interlocks, limit values, times and fallback
behaviour when devices or connections fail.
- Secure access: change passwords, assign rights in the user manager and
do not make the controller accessible from the internet without
protection.
- Changes made by the AI assistant and
via the AI interface affect the real
installation and must be checked by the user.
External services
Availability and cost of external services are not guaranteed. Important
functions should not depend solely on an external service (see
Data protection and external services).
